Congratulations ITACOR La Principessa Blue "Bella" within 12 months of age she has achieved her Australian Championship Title. SPRING FAIR 2011

The Italian Cane Corso was showcased with pride during the 3 day international Spring Fair 2011. Judges comments "Typical head type, well balanced, sound movement an exceptional dog you have bred" We are certainly honoured to have an array of Judges believe Thyrio was imported from Italy, they had been astonished to hear we had bred him here in Australia. He is offpring from our Australian Champion lines bred from our Italian imports a remarkable day and outcome for this fine young Corso making his debut in Sydney.

Best Exhibit in Show 31st July, 2011 at the Utility Rare Breeds Championship show in Victoria with 77 dogs entered Australian Champion ITACOR Battista claimed the prize awarded by Judge Mrs Alison Raftis ( mastiff specialist) Special thanks to Judge Mrs Raftis and handler/owner Noel Mercieca & Frank Bartuccio (ITACOR Breeder).
ITACOR BRED WINNING CORSO CHAMPIONS in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011 the only breed and breeder to have this running success rate 5 years back to back in Australia. As predicted in our previous update, we are living the dream......

The Utility Championship Show held in Victoria 31st July, 2011 with entries of 346 dogs, Judge by Mr Sparham who awarded ITACOR Aust.Ch.Battista Best Intermediate Exhibit in Show, this was a double header for Battista, a well deserved win from an outstanding Corso. Special thanks to Judge Mr Sparham from NSW, Noel Mercieca and Frank Bartuccio together with all of our Corso enthusiasts ringside, thank you for all your support.

UTILITY SHOW JULY 2011

The annual event that has the show dog world hold their breathe is about to take another look at Australasia's top winning rare breed compete amongst top quality show dogs and champions from around Australia to take out the top prize of Best in Show this July. Saturday 29th July Australian Champion ITACOR Bella takes out another BOB win, she is certainly maturing into a very fine specimen of the Italian Cane Corso breed. "Bella" is under 12 months of age gaining her Championship title, congratulations to her handler Jeremy for his fine handling skills.

Congratulations to ITACOR Jet winning his 1st show best puppy in group in WA. It was a hot one but a beauty Jet got plenty of positive feedback. We congratulate both Chris and Vanessa on a great win. We wish to thank Mr Mick Svaljek of Victoria for his professional opinion and critique awarding ITACOR Battista Excellent and runner up in Show September 2010. Battista is now the no.1 Corso to be exhibited throughout Australasia, CONGRATULATIONS Battista and his owner/handler Mr Noel Mercieca. ITACOR breeding, Mr Mercieca's training and the love for the sport and of the breed has today rewarded the Italian Cane Corso as the dog to beat ringside.

22 month old male, medium to large, very alert, robust, sturdy. Excellent height to length ratio, strong male head with excellent expression, good breadth of skull, medium size ears carried close to cheeks, stop pronounced. Strong broad deep muzzle, nose black. Slightly undershot mouth. Slightly round shaped dark brown eyes, with attentive and keen expression. Zygomatic arches well pronounced. Broad deep roomy chest, very well muscled shoulders, well boned and musceled forearm, pasterns elastic, round shape compact feet, with well arched toes. Well sprung ribs. Excellent top line with very good angulations. Strong well set hocks. In movement - unrestricted, well balanced with very good reach and drive. Short shinny coat in Excellent condition - Entire.
